Level 1 – Yoga in Daily Life Foundation Course
First Level of the graded, Eight-Level, Yoga in Daily Life System. A true gem in the world of yoga, Level 1 consists of Sarva Hitta Asanas, translated as "Postures Beneficial for All", which are gentle enough for a complete beginner and yet, when practiced to their full extent, are sure to challenge even advanced yoga practitioners. Take advantage of this unique course which will introduce the first level of the classical, authentic system of Yoga in Daily Life. Throughout the course, the body is gradually and systematically prepared, leading from simple exercises to more advanced postures. Each class includes a deep relaxation, yoga postures and stretches, and breath techniques which promote the balance of the body, mind, and soul.
Level 2 and above
Each subsequent level of the Yoga in Daily Life system will introduce new set of asanas and a new level of breathing practice, meditation, and relaxation. One full session of each previous level with Yoga in Daily Life is required to attend Level 2 and above.
Gentle Yoga for Everyone
A Level 1 yoga class adapted to seniors, persons recovering from illness, those who feel "out of shape" and anyone who would like a gentle introduction to yoga with all the benefits of yoga such as relaxation, gentle stretching, strengthening, and breathing exercises included in this Yoga in Daily Life course. Anyone with serious medical problem, or in case of pregnancy, please consult your doctor regarding your intention to attend a yoga class and any limitations to your ability to participate.
Yoga for Back Care
Yoga in Daily Life course specially designed for those who have suffered from chronic back pain or general back, shoulder and neck discomfort, and also for those who want to learn and practice preventative care as well as correct alignment and good discernment of postures during yoga practice. The 8 level system parallels the comprehensive exercise system Yoga in Daily Life with special exercises for back care. In each of the levels, the whole body is treated using relaxation, stretching, and strengthening in order to protect your back body from pain and injury. Once medical diagnosis has excluded natural damage as the cause of a problem, then regular practice of "Yoga in Daily Life" will help improve or restore muscular balance, correct posture, and improve circulation in the whole body. Anyone with a serious back or other medical condition, please be sure to consult your doctor regarding any limitations to your ability to participate in a yoga class.
Yoga for Stress Relief
Yoga in Daily Life Course with emphasis on relaxation and techniques for stress management. Recommended for those who feel the consequences of today's fast paced life and for those who want to learn techniques to help overcome and prevent stress. The class includes anti-stress relaxation, deep breathing techniques, and stress releasing yoga postures. This class is suitable for beginners as well as those with previous yoga experience.
