Special Yoga Retreat - Part 1 | Saturday Morning Half-Day Session

This special retreat program includes relaxation, asanas (yoga postures) and pranayama (breathing techniques), and also a lecture by Vishwaguruji. Learn how to transfer yoga teachings into our daily life and how we can relax and attain peace and clarity of mind to know what we really want. A light vegetarian breakfast is included in the program for half day participants and additionally vegetarian lunch for participants of the whole retreat.

Each half day session is $60 or sign up for the whole retreat at $170.

Special Yoga Retreat - Part 2 | Saturday Afternoon & Evening Half Day Session

This special retreat program includes relaxation, asanas (yoga postures) and pranayama (breathing techniques), and also a lecture by Vishwaguruji. Learn how to transfer yoga teachings into daily life and how to listen to the inner voice of the heart and observe and understand feelings, in order to find a deeper sense of contentment and freedom in life. A vegetarian dinner is included.

Special Free Event Sunday Afternoon | In Service of Peace and Well-Being

Join us for this special free program, planting a peace tree in Four Mile Run Park at Bruce Street. (The park entrance is behind MOMS parking lot in Del Ray Alexandria.) This event is supported by the City of Alexandria and the Mayor plans to attend.

Special Program Sunday Evening | In Service of Peace and Well-Being

Join us for this special lecture by Vishwaguruji, Founder of Yoga in Daily Life, on "Yoga: In Service of Peace and Well-Being." This lecture will focus on how yoga strengthens our connection to our true selves and to all living beings in nature, in order to be more active members of our community and dedicated to compassion, wisdom, and service to others.

This lecture will take place at the Del Ray Yoga Center but it is a side-event to the International Conference on Sustainable Development, which will take place September 21-22 in New York City at Columbia University in conjunction with the UN General Assembly meetings and the UN International Day of Peace.
